The ideal Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager candidate must;
- Come from a quality hotel / branded restaurant background.
- Have strong managerial skills.
- Will be passionate about Food & Beverage.
- Able to provide exceptional standards of service and customer care under pressure.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Must demonstrate their ability to deliver against set targets and budgets.
- Be experienced in stocktaking, ordering and achieving targeted margins.
- Be experienced in restaurant and bar sales forecasting.
- Liaise with departments in order to drive promotional activity.
- Effectively manage, train and develop a team of supervisors, bar and waiting staff.
- To be inspirational, going out of their way to make sure that the guest experience is the best the guest could have.
- The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead a team
- Able to look after large functions to include weddings, conference and lunch/dinner parties
- Duty manager shifts
Hours of Work and Pay
This is a permanent full time role, working 48 hours 5 days out of 7 with bank holidays and weekend working on a shift basis due to the nature of our business. We are offering a competitive rate of pay.
